This page explains the cookies and similar technologies we use, and the choices you have. Together with our Privacy Policy it forms the basis of consent we ask for under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA).
What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file a website places on your device so it can remember things across pages and visits — like keeping items in your bag, remembering you're signed in, or counting how many people visit each page.
Categories we use
1. Strictly necessary
Cart contents, sign-in session, checkout, CSRF and security. These are always on because the site does not work without them.
2. Analytics
Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-BFMQ8LVSF3) — we use this to count visits, understand which categories are most viewed and improve pages. This runs only if you click "Accept all" on our banner.
3. Payment
Razorpay places cookies on the checkout page to run its secure payment window. These load only when you begin checkout.
Your choices
On your first visit our consent banner lets you accept all cookies or accept only essential ones. You can change this any time by clearing your browser storage for saubhagyajewellery.com; the banner will show again on your next visit.
You can also block third-party cookies at the browser level. Doing so will not stop you from browsing or ordering.
Retention
Session cookies expire when you close the browser. Persistent cookies (sign-in, cart) expire after 30 days of inactivity. Analytics cookies follow Google's default retention of 14 months.
