Flat rectangular links carved with temple scrollwork make the collar of this necklace sit flush against the skin instead of standing away from it — a small thing that matters if you are wearing it for six hours straight. The pendant is an arched Lakshmi panel with peacocks curving up on both sides. Drops hang along the entire collar, not just at the centre. Paired with tall Lakshmi-topped jhumkas. A good first temple set if you have not worn one before and want something that is not overwhelming. This variant finishes with fluted gold melon beads and small pearls along the fringe, keeping the whole piece in one warm antique-gold tone.

How long will delivery take?

Every order is dispatched within 2–4 business days. After that the courier takes 2–4 days within Mumbai, 3–5 days across Maharashtra and 5–8 days to the rest of India. Delivery is free anywhere in India, and the delivery checker on this page gives the date for your PIN code.

What is the return policy?

Because jewellery is worn against the skin, we do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind - every piece is inspected and sealed before dispatch, so nothing you receive has been worn by anyone else. If it arrives damaged or with a manufacturing defect, message us within 3 days of delivery: with a continuous, unedited unboxing video for transit damage, or clear photos for a manufacturing defect, and we will repair or replace it free. If a repair or replacement is not possible, the refund goes back to your original payment method within 7–10 business days. You can cancel any order before it is dispatched.

Is this real gold?

No, and we would rather say so plainly. This is imitation jewellery - a Zamak zinc-alloy body, precision-cast and high gold-plated, with the stones hand-set. Made to look like the real thing at a fraction of the price. It carries no hallmark and is not sold as precious metal.

Will the colour come off?

Not with reasonable care. The finish lasts longest if you put the necklace on last - after perfume, hairspray and moisturiser - take it off before bathing, swimming or sleeping, and keep it in a dry pouch away from other metal.

Is cash on delivery available?

On most pin codes, yes. The checkout checks your pin code against the courier network and tells you before you pay, so you will know either way before you commit to the order. Cash on Delivery carries a handling fee, shown at checkout before you confirm; paying online has no extra charge.

How to wear the Lakshmi Arch temple haar

By Dayasingh Chauhan, Saubhagya Jewellery · Updated

Flat rectangular links carved with temple scrollwork let this collar lie flush against the skin, and drops run along its whole length rather than only at the centre. It is the easiest of our temple necklaces to wear for a long day.

The arch around Lakshmi

In a South Indian temple the deity stands inside a carved arch, the prabhavali. This pendant borrows that frame: Lakshmi sits in an arched panel with peacocks curving up on both sides, so the necklace carries a small shrine at its centre.

What to wear it with

Its flat, even line suits almost any blouse, including simple round and boat necks with everyday silk and silk-cotton sarees. The tall Lakshmi-topped jhumkas balance the length of the collar, so you rarely need anything else. This colour finishes the fringe with fluted gold-tone melon beads and small pearls, so the whole piece stays in one warm antique tone. Choose it when the saree already carries strong colour or heavy zari.

When it works best

Pujas, housewarmings, a cousin's wedding, festival days at home. At 78 grams it is the lightest of our temple collars, and a very good first temple set if you have not worn one before.
