A peacock worked in relief on the paisley top with a kundan trio above it, opening into a narrow conical jhumki with an open lattice body and a pearl cluster at the base. The conical jhumki is unusually slim, which makes the whole earring look longer than its actual drop. Antique gold finish over a Zamak alloy base.

What is the return policy?

Because jewellery is worn against the skin, we do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind - every piece is inspected and sealed before dispatch, so nothing you receive has been worn by anyone else. If it arrives damaged or with a manufacturing defect, message us within 3 days of delivery: with a continuous, unedited unboxing video for transit damage, or clear photos for a manufacturing defect, and we will repair or replace it free. If a repair or replacement is not possible, the refund goes back to your original payment method within 7–10 business days. You can cancel any order before it is dispatched.

Is this real gold?

No, and we would rather say so plainly. This is imitation jewellery - a Zamak zinc-alloy body, precision-cast and antique gold-plated, with the stones hand-set. Made to look like the real thing at a fraction of the price. It carries no hallmark and is not sold as precious metal.

Will the colour come off?

Not with reasonable care. The finish lasts longest if you put the earring on last - after perfume, hairspray and moisturiser - take it off before bathing, swimming or sleeping, and keep it in a dry pouch away from other metal.

Is cash on delivery available?

On most pin codes, yes. The checkout checks your pin code against the courier network and tells you before you pay, so you will know either way before you commit to the order. Cash on Delivery carries a handling fee, shown at checkout before you confirm; paying online has no extra charge.

A slim silhouette

The conical jhumki is unusually slim, which makes the whole earring look longer than its actual drop. The peacock on top is the same bird that appears all through South Indian temple jewellery.

What to wear it with

Silk sarees with peacock or mango borders, pattu pavadai and half-sarees. It pairs well with a Lakshmi pendant on a bead chain.
