How long will delivery take?
Every order is dispatched within 2–4 business days. After that the courier takes 2–4 days within Mumbai, 3–5 days across Maharashtra and 5–8 days to the rest of India. Delivery is free anywhere in India, and the delivery checker on this page gives the date for your PIN code.
What is the return policy?
Because jewellery is worn against the skin, we do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind - every piece is inspected and sealed before dispatch, so nothing you receive has been worn by anyone else. If it arrives damaged or with a manufacturing defect, message us within 3 days of delivery: with a continuous, unedited unboxing video for transit damage, or clear photos for a manufacturing defect, and we will repair or replace it free. If a repair or replacement is not possible, the refund goes back to your original payment method within 7–10 business days. You can cancel any order before it is dispatched.
Is this real gold?
No, and we would rather say so plainly. This is imitation jewellery - a Zamak zinc-alloy body, precision-cast and high gold-plated, with the stones hand-set. Made to look like the real thing at a fraction of the price. It carries no hallmark and is not sold as precious metal.
Will the colour come off?
Not with reasonable care. The finish lasts longest if you put the necklace on last - after perfume, hairspray and moisturiser - take it off before bathing, swimming or sleeping, and keep it in a dry pouch away from other metal.
Is cash on delivery available?
On most pin codes, yes. The checkout checks your pin code against the courier network and tells you before you pay, so you will know either way before you commit to the order. Cash on Delivery carries a handling fee, shown at checkout before you confirm; paying online has no extra charge.

Styling the Lakshmi Mango temple haar

The mango necklace, manga malai in Tamil, is one of the oldest shapes in South Indian bridal jewellery. This short temple haar keeps that shape and sets Lakshmi on a lotus at its centre, so it carries both of the motifs a traditional wedding looks for.

What the mango means
In temple jewellery the mango stands for plenty: a good harvest, a full home, children. Brides in Tamil Nadu and Andhra have worn mango links for generations for exactly that reason. Here each mango is outlined in a matte antique finish and set with red and green kemp stones, and the links lead the eye to Lakshmi, the goddess of prosperity, seated on her lotus.
What to wear it with
Because the collar sits high on the neck, it works best over a silk blouse with a round, boat or high neck, where a longer necklace would disappear into the fabric. A Kanjeevaram or Paithani saree with a zari border is the natural match. Keep the hair in a low bun or a braid so the Lakshmi-crown jhumkas stay visible. This colour hangs white pearl drops along the fringe, which lightens the look considerably. It is the easiest of the three with pastel, ivory, peach and powder-blue outfits.
When it works best
The wedding day, the engagement, Varalakshmi Vratam and Diwali Lakshmi puja, when a Lakshmi piece is especially fitting. The back tie-cord lets you set the height to suit the blouse, so one size genuinely fits.
