An eight-petal kundan flower sits at the top, and below it a full chandbali crescent packed with uncut-look kundan stones around one large oval centre. A row of white pearl drops finishes the lower edge. These are the classic North Indian wedding-guest earrings — big enough to carry a plain outfit on their own, light enough at 37 grams for the pair that you will not be taking them off halfway through the evening. What is the return policy?

Because jewellery is worn against the skin, we do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind - every piece is inspected and sealed before dispatch, so nothing you receive has been worn by anyone else. If it arrives damaged or with a manufacturing defect, message us within 3 days of delivery: with a continuous, unedited unboxing video for transit damage, or clear photos for a manufacturing defect, and we will repair or replace it free. If a repair or replacement is not possible, the refund goes back to your original payment method within 7–10 business days. You can cancel any order before it is dispatched.

Is this real gold?

No, and we would rather say so plainly. This is imitation jewellery - a Zamak zinc-alloy body, precision-cast and high gold-plated, with the stones hand-set. Made to look like the real thing at a fraction of the price. It carries no hallmark and is not sold as precious metal.

Will the colour come off?

Not with reasonable care. The finish lasts longest if you put the earring on last - after perfume, hairspray and moisturiser - take it off before bathing, swimming or sleeping, and keep it in a dry pouch away from other metal.

Is cash on delivery available?

On most pin codes, yes. The checkout checks your pin code against the courier network and tells you before you pay, so you will know either way before you commit to the order. Cash on Delivery carries a handling fee, shown at checkout before you confirm; paying online has no extra charge.

What a chandbali is

Chand means moon and bali means earring: the chandbali is the crescent-moon earring long associated with Hyderabad and the courts of North India. The crescent frames the face, and the pearls along the lower edge move with every turn of the head.

What to wear it with

Big enough to carry a plain outfit on their own: a solid silk saree, a lehenga or an anarkali. Keep the neck light, a fine chain or nothing at all, and wear the hair back or side-swept.

When it works best

The classic North Indian wedding-guest earring, for weddings, sangeet and Karva Chauth. At 37 grams for the pair, you will not be taking them off halfway through the evening.
